Washington State’s Largest Spanish Newspaper
El Mundo covers all of the greater Puget Sound and North Central areas of the state of Washington. Nearly all of El Mundo readers are Latino, although about 5% of them are non-Latino who read El Mundo to learn or improve on their Spanish, and El Mundo can be found in Spanish classes and public libraries throughout the state of Washington. Although about 75% of El Mundo readers speak English “fairly well,” they prefer to conduct their daily business in Spanish.
